Richard Davison

After working within the local government housing / commercial maintenance sector for over 40 years, I have gained extensive experience of operating within a team that provides effective front line customer focused services. My journey began as an apprentice bench joiner and progressed to a more senior role as Head of Facilities Management at Nottingham’s largest repairs and maintenance provider. I have enjoyed many varied roles within my career and have worked with some amazing people. Within FHP, my role is to support our Property Management Surveyors in providing a facilities management service to our tenants.

The role includes all aspects of Facilities Management, including day to day management of sites, introducing and managing Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules, managing repairs, along with ensuring support services and inspection regimes are in place to provide safe working environments for our tenants.

I also carry out regular property inspections ensuring sites managed are operating safely, along with liaising with tenants to ensure the service provided meets their expectations.

Sport is my passion, especially football. I spent many years playing football, but now I coach grass root football, starting out a few years ago coaching my son’s football team and now together we coach a boys u8 team. I also enjoy walking with my wife and exploring new routes so my weekends are either spent coaching or together with my wife watching our son play football, along with us both squeezing in as many walks as we can.
