No, it is not a relaunch of the 70’s TV Series or an announcement for a bulk order of Audi Quattro’s but the Professional Department at FHP, headed by Equity Partner Andrew Chapman has added to its ranks with the appointment of Alastair Fearn.  Alastair has been with FHP for approximately five years working predominantly in the Office and Industrial Agency Team.  Throughout this period Alastair has gained his professional status through undertaking a wide range of instructions throughout the East Midlands in both the office and industrial markets.

The change in role for Alastair will enable the Professional Department at FHP to broaden its offer to clients through Alastair’s knowledge of the transactional market in the region. 

Alastair Fearn commented:

“I have been increasing the amount of professional based work that I have undertaken for some time so the natural progression for me was to become a full time member of the Professional Services Department.  I feel that my predominately agency background does assist me in providing the best advice to clients, whether it be landlord or tenant in relation to issues such as:-

• Lease renewal
• Rent review
• Lease re-gear

I am also in the process of advising a number of clients in relation to mitigating their business rates liabilities and have been able to make successful applications for discretionary relief on behalf of clients who are not fully utilising their premises.”

Andrew Chapman added:

“The addition of Alastair to our team will certainly enable us to service our clients across all sectors more efficiently and I am very happy to be able to draw upon his knowledge gained for the past five years in our Commercial Agency Department.  His enthusiasm and commitment are a welcome addition.”
