The former Post Office building on Victoria Street, Derby has been let to The Post House Derby in a deal brokered by FHP Property Consultants.
The premises is located within close proximity of the Wardwick, Derby’s prime leisure pitch and has recently been granted planning permission for use as an A3 (restaurant).
The Post House Derby is due to open in May 2017 and will serve local Artisan and organic food.
Jade Devall, Managing Director of The Post House Derby commented:-
“This building is the perfect opportunity for our business which we have been planning for a while now. With its industrial features and heritage it makes the perfect place for our restaurant and bar. Derby needs a very different take on food and drink and we will be bringing 8 of the very best local independent companies from around the East Midlands.”
Darran Severn from FHP Property Consultants comments:-
“The leisure scene in Derby has evolved over the last 18 months with a good mix of national and independent operators opening within the City Centre. We are continually speaking with other bar and restaurant operators but there are fewer well placed opportunities available.”
