FHP acting on behalf of Regent Street Developments Limited have completed the sale of a site of 0.47 acres at Orchard Street in Mansfield which had the benefit of Planning Consent for 10 houses, to Dan Developments Limited.
The site, which is adjacent to the new retail scheme that includes a One Stop Convenience Store, was sold for £165,000 which breaks back to a price per plot of £16,500 or £350,000/acre.
David Hargreaves of FHP confirmed the site had been on the market for approximately 2 years and that the sale of this site was indicative of the significant improvement in the “residential land market” in the past 3 to 4 months.
The improvement in the availability of funding from Banks and the Government’s Help To Buy scheme have encouraged many small builders to re-enter the property development market with support from their Bank.
