FHP have confirmed that detailed planning consent has been granted by Nottingham City Council allowing an exciting new development to be brought forward on the remaining 3.5 acres at Davidsons’ Portal site on Queens Drive in Nottingham.
The scheme will develop a new 43,000ft² Dunelm Soft Furnishings Store to allow them to relocate from their existing store on Radford Boulevard to a more prominent and more central location.
Davidsons will also be delivering a prestigious two storey car showroom at the entrance of the scheme and there will be a self contained three storey office building of approximately 14,000ft².
John Proctor at FHP has been advising on the scheme and agreed a letting to Dunelm and confirmed:-
“We are delighted to receive the green light to this scheme which will redevelop one of Nottingham’s most prominent undeveloped sites on the Queens Drive entrance into the City Centre. Davidsons have worked hard at introducing high quality design and elevations to both the retail and car showroom element and we look forward to seeing the scheme take shape over the forthcoming months”.
