Alan Pearson, Director of FHP Property Consultants and Joint Letting Agent of Intu Derby is delighted to announce a series of new lettings within the Intu Derby Shopping Centre.
Tiger, the Danish variety store retailer has recently opened a new 3,311 sq ft unit on the lower mall opposite H&M Kids. They first opened in Copenhagen in 1995 and has now grown to 314 stores across Europe and Japan. The retailer offers a wide variety of homewares, toys, stationary, toiletries and accessories. This is Tiger’s third store in the Midlands, following openings in Merry Hill and Leicester.
Hotter Shoes have leased SU144 on the lower mall, opening their second store in the East Midlands. The store provides 2,000 sq ft of accommodation. The company has been trading for over 50 years and currently trade from 71 units across the UK.
HMV have relocated from the junction of East Street and Albion Street onto level two of the centre, acquiring the former Republic store. This unit provides 8,000 sq ft over ground and mezzanine level. The unit occupies a prominent position close to the M&S Department Store and adjacent to Bank and JD Sports.
Ann Summers have relocated from St Peter’s Street to level two. They have taken a unit adjacent to New Look and Dorothy Perkins.
