IN FOR CHRISTMAS AT WILLOW ROAD

FHP managed to bring their clients, National Autoparts an early Christmas present by letting their former accommodation of nearly 50,000ft² on Willow Road in Nottingham.

Acting jointly with Sean Bremner of Lambert Smith Hampton, Tim Gilbertson of FHP agreed a deal which sees the premises let on a 5 year lease to expanding local occupiers Recycle Shop. 

Tim Gilbertson commented:

“I have acted on National Autoparts behalf for a number of years having previously acquired their current base in Alfreton when they relocated from Willow Road and we acquired nearly 100,000ft² for them to continue with their successful expansion.

As a result their premises on Willow Road, just off Nottingham’s Ring Road and Lenton Lane became vacant and we were tasked, jointly with Sean Bremner of Lambert Smith Hampton, to dispose of their former premises.

Given the difficult market this has proved a challenge but I am delighted to say that just prior to the Christmas break we successfully disposed of the accommodation on a new 5 year lease.

Hopefully this augers well for the future and increased demand in 2013 and whilst stock levels need boosting, hopefully demand is starting to improve and we are cautiously optimistic that 2013 may bring an improved market.

If nothing else, this is a cheerier thought for the New Year!”
