Delivering deals across the UK, leading commercial property agent and consultancy firm FHP has secured four coveted top spots in the Estates Gazette (EG) Radius Annual Agency Leaderboards and a total of seven top ten rankings in both regional and national categories.
Using data supplied directly by the EG Radius community of agencies across sales, lettings and acquisitions, the leaderboards show the firms across the UK that have transacted the most space over the course of the year, broken down by sector, region and county. The rankings also call out the highest-performing individual dealmakers.
Along with agency-wide sector-leading statistics, FHP Director Oliver Marshall topped the charts as most active individual retail agent nationally amassing a total of 81 deals over the year, as well as jointly being recognised as the most active individual agent in the East Midlands alongside Associate Director Anthony Barrowcliffe who put together 68 deals across the region in office and industrial sectors.
On his individual retail agent win, Oliver Marshall said: “I’m thrilled to have been recognised as the most active retail agent across the UK. It’s a fantastic accolade to pick up and great recognition for all the hard work put in.
Despite the challenges faced in the retail and leisure market at present, I remain proactive and optimistic in order to deliver results for my clients. The number of deals being done also highlights the positive activity in the market and that there is still very much life in the High Street. I have had the pleasure of working with a huge variety of clients and operators over the years which I’ll be looking to continue to build on.
“I’m looking forward to what 2023 will bring and will be trying to retain the title! 2023 has already started with a bang with a number of key deals being done and good levels of enquiries being received.”
FHP has grown to become one of the largest private commercial property consultancies within the East Midlands, with offices in Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham. Their impressive status as the most active agents in the East Midlands in both office and industrial sectors and the most active agents overall in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire is a testament to their expert regional knowledge and strong relationships with local businesses.
FHP were named as the 5th agent nationally for the retail sector, 10th across all sectors and 10th agent in the industrial sector nationally, all in all a huge effort considering the size and manpower of the bigger national agents.
Anthony Barrowcliffe, who picked up the accolade for most active agent in the East Midlands for a second year running added:
