Industrial/Warehouse News
At FHP we always like a challenge, all instructions are given the same care and attention but when other agents have failed to achieve a disposal it is particularly gratifying for us to quickly find a new occupier for a client, as has been the case with this particular disposal at Summit Close, Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Anthony Barrowcliffe and Chris Proctor of FHP worked tirelessly to try and locate a new tenant for this building which created a lot of interest on a freehold basis but with our clients reticent to sell we were facing a substantial challenge in finding suitable leasehold occupiers.
As ever though hard work normally yields favourable results and this is certainly a case in point as a new tenant on a 5 year length of lease has now been found with keys handed over and the tenant in occupation.
Anthony Barrowcliffe from FHP commented;
“This property had been on the market with another agent for the best part of a year and we were asked to step into their shoes. We knew it was likely to be a challenging test of our ability to find a new tenant but given the large yard and well positioned space, with the building sitting close to the A38, I was confident of our abilities to find a tenant and I am delighted that our hard work has paid off.
Thoroughness is something we pride ourselves on and by diligently trawling the market for enquiries, targeting local occupiers and pursuing every potential line of interest I am delighted that a new occupier has been found, much to our client’s delight.
Yet again though this deal does show how through hard work success can be achieved, even with challenging disposals.
We really enjoy getting our teeth stuck into even the most difficult of challenges and if any party throughout the East Midlands has any industrial or distribution space in need of a new tenant or buyer then I would be delighted to try and assist.”
