Rice Express have taken 1,000 sq ft on Birmingham’s prime New Street pitch, which now boasts some of Birmingham’s most popular restaurants, the choice of which keeps growing and growing.
Doug Tweedie, Director at FHP commented:-
“Occupier interest in 51 New Street was overwhelming, with many great food concepts coming forward with great ideas. The building itself created operational challenges but we’re so pleased to have found Rice Express who have been able, through well thought design to overcome these and produce a bright, colourful, easy to navigate space to grab & go or dine in. We can’t wait to see it open.”
“Central Birmingham is home to some world class grab & go, casual and fine dining options and would rival any major European city. Since 2020 Birmingham’s food offering has further improved, and with F&B and leisure concepts accounting for 85% of those looking for space in the city centre, providing the right space is brought forward the choice is set to improve further. F&B and leisure operators (amongst others) face massive challenges in the coming years, with utility prices adding to staff and supply chain issues, we must do our best to support every one, who have ultimately contributed to making Birmingham such an exciting city to be part of.”
