DEAL DONE AT BLENHEIM COURT – 6,000FT² SOLD!

Blenheim Park, set just off Junction 26 of the M1 Motorway at Nottingham has always been one of the City’s favoured estates with property generally moving quickly, particularly when available for sale.

The latest deal concluded on this estate by Tim Gilbertson, has seen just over 6,000ft² of good quality stock sold to enable the relocation of established Nottingham company Ashworth & Thompson as they reconfigure their business model.

Tim Gilbertson who acted on behalf of the vendors with Matt Wade of Musson Liggins acting on behalf of the purchasers Ashworth & Thompson, commented:

“I was delighted to have the opportunity to sell this property with your joint agents and was confident from day one that a swift disposal could be achieved.

Via our formal marketing campaign a number of potential buyers were found plus interest was also generated on a potential lease but given the opportunity to sell to Ashworth & Thompson a swift deal was agreed.  This was a really good unit set in a prime location just off Junction 26 of the M1, sensibly immaculately presented by our client.  A combination of presentation, location and the rare chance to buy always seemed likely to create interest enabling us to achieve a swift deal which, I am please to say, was very much the case with a price being agreed at a sensible level.

We wish the new occupiers well in their base and look forward to having further opportunities to sell on this estate in a market where there remains good demand.”

Matt Wade of Musson Liggins acted on behalf of the buyers, Ashworth & Thompson and added:

“I am very pleased to be able to conclude this acquisition on behalf of my clients who have been looking to relocate for some time. Good quality Industrial units such as this are few and far between and it was very important that we relocated near to the clients existing premises.” 

Tim Gilbertson concluded by adding:

“Yet again another deal done and more stock in the market that needs replacing.

It does seem with activity still strong that the remainder of 2017 should see further deals agreed but with diminishing stock levels there will come a point where Nottingham effectively ‘runs out’ of opportunities.  I would therefore be delighted to speak to any landlord or vendor who might want to take advantage of this market and sell or let their industrial or warehouse premises.”
