FHP Property Consultants, acting on behalf of private clients, have completed the letting of the former Filthy’s Bar and Club on Weekday Cross to Staton Young (Bars) Limited.
This company currently trade from an outlet in Derby and is owned by Marc Brough, who has also recently acquired the former Saltwater premises in The Cornerhouse.
David Hargreaves confirmed a new letting had been secured at a rent of £90,000 per annum and the new venture is likely to open for trade prior to Christmas.
Darran Severn of FHP said: “I originally met Staton Young (Bars) a couple of years ago, when I let them their first leisure premises in Derby. This has been trading very well as Gas Light Derby and consequently they asked us to find a similar opportunity in Nottingham. The Lace Market is a great location for their brand and I look forward to seeing the bar open shortly.”
FHP and Box Property acted on behalf of the landlords in this transaction.
