CARDZONE EXPANSION CONTINUES WITH ACQUISITION IN WAKEFIELD

Acting on behalf of Cardzone Ltd trading as Paper Kisses, Fisher Hargreaves Proctor has acquired Unit 4 All Saints Walk, The Ridings Centre, Wakefield on a new 5 year effectively full repairing and insuring lease at a stepped rental averaging £43,000 per annum subject to 4 months initial rent free period.

The unit was previously occupied by a national card retailer and was operated initially on a temporary basis by Cardzone to test the market prior to committing to a permanent lease.

The unit contains a ground floor sales area of 1,361ft² together with first floor stores of 1,271ft².

Mark Bradley, who acquired the unit for Cardzone, commented:-

“The acquisition of this unit fitted my client’s strategy of building upon the existing cluster of branches in the Yorkshire area and after an initial trial trading period, on a temporary licence, the turnover from this property was sufficient to seize the opportunity of securing a permanent lease within the Ridings Shopping Centre.”
