BLUEWATER LADIESWEAR OPEN ON SADLER GATE, DERBY

Fisher Hargreaves Proctor are delighted to announce that Bluewater Ladieswear will shortly be opening a new store at 46 Sadler Gate, Derby, the unit formerly occupied by Cruise Ladieswear.

The unit provides a fully fitted fashion store of approximately 1500ft².

Bluewater Clothing operate successful stores in Burton on Trent and Barton Marina in Staffordshire. 

Ben Tebbutt of FHP, who put the deal together, commented:-

“FHP received instructions from the administrators of Cruise to sell the freehold of the above store.  The property market is extremely difficult at present and no developers are looking at speculative purchases without the prospect of securing a tenant.  FHP are the preferred agents for the Cathedral Quarter and through their knowledge were aware of Bluewater Clothing who had a requirement for Sadler Gate.  A deal was brokered whereby the property was sold to Clowes Developments subject to a simultaneous lease to Bluewater Ladieswear.”

Andrew Bock of Clowes Developments commented:-

“The company owns numerous properties around Sadler Gate, however we were not interested in a purchase of a vacant unit.  FHP introduced both the opportunity plus the potential tenant and we were delighted to work in conjunction with them in securing the letting.”

Bluewater Ladieswear have acquired the unit on a new 6 year lease.
