Acting on behalf of Betfred Bookmakers, FHP Property Consultants have negotiated the acquisition of a major flagship branch in Birmingham city centre at 63 New Street.
The premises which comprise a ground floor unit of 1,335ft² were formerly occupied by an employment agency with the benefit of an existing A2 planning consent.
The deal was negotiated by Mark Bradley of FHP who commented:-
“The attractiveness of this unit was the existing A2 planning consent which would otherwise have proved difficult to obtain in a prime city centre site on New Street.
I was pleased to be able to secure this deal on very favourable terms for the acquisition of this flagship branch to provide my client with prime city centre representation to compliment their other branch on High Street. At the date of acquisition, it is understood that the rent reflects a new low Zone A rent for New Street!”
