Industrial/Warehouse News
Following an extensive fit-out, AW Repair Group have recently opened their doors in Derby, in a deal brokered by FHP Property Consultants.
AW Repair Group have taken modern workshop premises of 16,500ft² together with customer parking facilities off Ascot Drive, a popular industrial and trade destination in a convenient location within Derby. Originally constructed by Condor Developments in 2007 and known as 40-44 Longbridge Lane, the buildings were originally developed as 3 separate units but are now occupied together providing good quality space.
Tim Richardson from FHP Property Consultants comments:
“We were aware that AW Repair Group were looking for a repair centre in Derby and we thought this property might be suitable. With a proactive hands on approach by our clients, Derbyshire Investments, a deal was struck for them to take all 3 units, planning permission obtained, and works undertaken to enable them to start their extensive fit-out.
Modern workshop premises are very difficult to find at the moment particularly in such a good location”.
AW Group was founded in 1998 and has grown organically to become one of the leading accident repair groups in the UK operating from a network of bodyshops across the Midlands. Repairing more than 12,000 vehicles per annum, AW Repair Group works on behalf of private individuals and businesses including partnerships with prestige manufacturers.
Scott Bailey from the landlords, Derbyshire Investments adds:
“Derbyshire Investments welcome a fantastic tenant into the unit and wish them great success for the future. We were extremely happy with the speed of the letting and the professionalism shown.”
