Industrial/Warehouse News
FHP Property Consultants are pleased to have achieved a sale of industrial premises and yard space on the Quarry Hill Industrial Estate in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Following an extensive marketing campaign, offers were invited from interested parties and terms agreed for Advance Auto Recovery to purchase the premises. The property comprises 2 industrial buildings totaling 6,421ft² on 0.75 acres, having a guide price of £600,000 and for many years was previously the home of AC Generators.
Tim Richardson from FHP Property Consultants comments:
“The property suits Advance Auto Recovery ideally having both workshop space and substantial yard, and also being within easy access of the M1 Motorway. There were a few hurdles to overcome including obtaining planning consent and the legal process and I am pleased that in the end we had a successful outcome. The interest in the site demonstrates that there is strong demand for freehold premises across the region and businesses are still looking to acquire premises for relocation”.
Advance Auto Recovery have been established for over 30 years, operating as a 24 hour breakdown, rescue and Recovery service to fleet customers, private motorists and major breakdown and recovery organisations. They also undertake specialist and prestige vehicle transportation.
Ian Meads from Advance Auto Recovery comments:
“We are pleased to have secured these new premises which will allow for our expansion, enabling us to offer an even higher level of service to our customers and a new training centre”.
