A PERFECTLY PACKAGED DEAL – FHP LET 30,000FT² TO SIMPLY CARTONS

In a market that remains starved of good quality space, Tim Gilbertson of FHP is pleased to confirm another deal where an agreement to let space was concluded within days of coming to the market.

Innovative packaging and design company Simply Cartons have agreed terms to take over 31,000ft² of space at Bleachers Yard in Nottingham to enable their continued success and expansion in the region.

Acting on behalf of pension fund clients, Tim Gilbertson commented:

“The paucity of space in the market place and the ongoing demand that we had during 2017 which has continued into the new year can no better be illustrated than the deal concluded here.

I was delighted to offer good quality warehouse and production space on behalf of our clients and whilst I anticipated good demand the demand that was immediately generated was somewhat overwhelming.

Four or five parties would have taken this building without delay and our clients chose to progress with Simply Cartons, a Nottingham based company expanding rapidly who, like so many parties in the market, were desperate to take additional space to meet their bulging order book.

From going to the market to the tenants taking occupation took less than 3 months, a great result all round and Simply Cartons acquired superb space whilst we achieved our aim very quickly for our clients and let this building without delay.

I felt sorry for the parties that we had to disappoint and simply wish that there was more stock we could offer and yet again I would urge any potential warehouse or industrial clients to give me a call or drop me an email as in most sectors across the region we have parties waiting to take space.”

Acting on behalf of private pension fund clients, their spokesman commented:
