Acting on behalf of London based clients, Tim Gilbertson, Partner of FHP together with Sean Bremner of Lambert Smith Hampton are pleased to announce the successful disposal of substantial warehouse premises at Tibshelf, Junction 28 of the M1 Motorway.

The deal concluded sees the expansion of local firm Wanzl who already have representation on the estate and we wish them well with their continued success and expansion.

The deal concluded sees one of the largest buildings in the region moved on before the year end and hopefully bodes well for improved conditions in 2011.

The deal was concluded by joint agents Tim Gilbertson of FHP and Sean Bremner of Lambert Smith Hampton. 

Tim Gilbertson commented:

“It was great to see this deal concluded prior to the turn of the year and hopefully this bodes well for similar disposals in 2011. 

After positive negotiations with the eventual tenants, we are delighted to see the deal concluded and wish them well in their expansion which will hopefully also create more jobs in the region.

Despite the ongoing market difficulties, there have been substantial warehouse and industrial sales and lettings throughout the year and with the amount of space now starting to dwindle, hopefully this is a good sign as we move into 2011.

Crystal ball gazing is never a precise science but with some significant enquiries still in the market place and stock levels now falling, we do hope that conditions will improve as 2011 progresses.”

The building has been taken by Wanzl for their expansion in conjunction with their current base on the Tibshelf Estate.
