2018 has been a fantastic year at The Ropewalk Industrial Estate, Station Road, Ilkeston, Derbyshire. A mixture of lettings and lease renewals have been conducted and 100% occupancy achieved. It has proven a great year for the small industrial sector as a whole and I have received strong levels of demand. This coupled with a lack of stock has led to excellent rental levels achieved across the board.

Due to new build space being thin on the ground, we have seen great success with secondary industrial stock this year, small to medium sized units becoming very sought after.

The last deal completed on the estate in 2018 was to Regency House Fabrics who sell upholstery fabrics to the industry and public, this final deal bringing the estate to full occupancy.

The Ropewalk Industrial Estate consists of a series of small to medium sized industrial units ranging from 22.5m² (242ft²) to 207.8m² (2,237ft²) on an established secure gated site. The units are ideal for light industrial storage purposes or workshops and are offered on flexible terms at affordable rents, located just 7 minutes from the Motorway and 20 minutes either way to Nottingham and Derby.
